MCA Arboretum: From Memory to Monument — Paving and Planting a Living Legacy
Paver and Tree Fundraiser
The Marygrove Community Association (MCA) proudly hosted a ribbon-cutting celebration for the new MCA Arboretum on November 8, 2025, marking an important milestone in the Fitzgerald neighborhood’s growing commitment to environmental stewardship and community-driven revitalization. The event also launched MCA’s “MCA Arboretum: From Memory to Monument — Paving and Planting a Living Legacy” fundraiser, which runs from November 8, 2025, to November 8, 2026.
The Marygrove Community Association invites you to help grow our neighborhood’s green space and honor those who make our community thrive or who have sustained you in some way. Through the Marygrove Arboretum paver & tree fundraiser, your gift will support the care, planting, and preservation of trees, as well as the installation of the Arboretum’s brick patio. Each contribution helps keep the Arboretum a welcoming, vibrant space for neighbors, families, and visitors to gather, learn, and reflect. Additionally, this fundraiser supports the long-term care of the Marygrove Arboretum.
Specifically raised funds will go toward:
Planting new trees and maintaining existing ones
Installing engraved pavers and signage
Creating educational and beautification features
Building a small maintenance fund to sustain the space year-round
Make a donation
Rendering of planned paver patio and existing arboretum trees
